PROCESSING & PRINTING

For over a decade, Garbo has been providing professional processing and printing almost exclusively for the photo studio of Garbo Productions. In 2005, the lab was updated with the latest digital lab equipment, empowering the lab to operate more efficiently and to offer customer many new products & services such as Online Proofing.

Staffed by experienced printers specially trained by Fuji to work on the new machines, the proofs, reprints and enlargements, in both color and black and white, the lab always produces the finest quality.



CUSTOM BLACK & WHITE PROCESSING & PRINTING

While the Garbo color lab is equipped with all new, digital day lab processors and printers, it continues to process it's true Black & White film the old fashioned way, in small batches to ensure each roll is developed perfectly. Custom, hand-prints are also still available from the lab.


DIGITAL RETOUCHING


For several years, Garbo has provided some of the best digital retouching in the city. From simple touch-ups like eliminating blemishes or stray hairs, to major changes like adding or removing people or backgrounds, Garbo's digital retouching service never disappoints.

The new digital lab equipment scans EVERY neg prior to being printed as a proof, making it even easier and affordable to fill any special retouching requests.



ONLINE PROOFING AND ORDERING

Now, Garbo Productions clients can securely login with an exclusive password and view all of the proofs from their wedding or event. Reprint orders can be placed directly through the website, and your payment information, like credit card numbers, will be encrypted for your protection.

WHAT IS MY EVENT ID?
Your Garbo Productions "Event ID" is the login for your event. Inputting this ID will allow you, your guests, family and friends to view all of the proofs from your event. Visitors do not have to register with the Garbo site to view proofs. However, registration is required before the "Favorites" or "Shopping Cart" functions are made available.
CAN I VIEW MORE THAN ONE EVENT WHEN I'M LOGGED IN?
You can return to the home page and enter another EventID to view a different event. Your original UserName and Password will allow you to submit favorites and place orders under any EventID. Your Shopping Cart and Favorites folder will maintain their contents until you delete them or process an order. Your Favorites will remain even after you've checked out and placed your online print order.

Please note that while images from other events will remain in your shopping cart even if you view another event, enlarged views of those images will not be available. Enlarged views of images previously placed in your "Favorites" or Shopping Cart are only available when logged into their respective EventID.
WHAT IF MY PROOFS DO NOT APPEAR WHEN I ENTER MY EVENT ID?
Please double-check the information you received from Garbo Productions to make sure that you are entering the correct ID. Also, be sure that you are entering the code EXACTLY as it appears, using upper-case and lower-case as necessary, and including any spaces or special characters (i.e. dashes or underscores). If you still cannot access your proofs, please contact the Garbo studio via email or phone, and one of our associates will assist you..
HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE ONCE IT'S BEEN PLACED ONLINE?

WILL SHIPPING CHARGES AND/OR TAXES BE ADDED TO MY TOTAL?
All applicable shipping charges will be applied to your order AFTER it has been placed online. Due to ever-changing rates and the weight variations of each order, this charge must be calculated separately from your original order. Any required sales tax will also be added to your total after the order arrives at the Garbo studio.
WHAT IF I LOSE MY USERNAME OR PASSWORD?
Please contact the Garbo Productions studio via email (customerservice@garboproductions.com) and an associate will assist in the retrieval of your UserName and/or Password. You can also re-register with a new UserName and Password.
CAN I CHANGE AN ONLINE ORDER ONCE IT'S BEEN PLACED?
An online order can be changed or cancelled, per your request, as long as the order has not been printed or shipped out. If a change or cancel request is made after the order has gone to production, your credit card will be charged only for work completed up to that point. To avoid unwanted charges, please submit requests for order changes or cancellations as soon as possible.
ARE SPECIAL QUANTITY PRICES AVAILABLE?
The price of 3.5" x 5" prints is reduced to $3.00/ea. when 25 or more prints (from the same image) are ordered. To request special pricing on other sizes and quantities, please contact the Garbo Productions studio.
IS RUSH SERVICE AVAILABLE?
You can request expedited service. However, additional charges may apply. Please allow as much time as possible for your order to be printed and shipped, especially during the peak wedding season and winter holidays. Please call the studio if your order requires any rush service.

WHAT DIGITAL RETOUCHING SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE FOR $50 AND $100?
Our basic digital retouching ($50.00) covers minor corrections like blemishes, stray hairs, and eyeglass glare. More advanced digital retouching ($100) is available for more complicated tasks, like eliminating from or adding people to an image and removing or changing the background.
IF I LOGOUT BEFORE I FINISH PLACING MY ORDER, DO I HAVE TO START OVER?
If you logout or lose your connection before you place your order, you do not have to start over. The contents of your Shopping Cart remain there until you checkout. Just login again with the same UserName and Password, continue to shop or checkout and place your order. Your "Favorites" selections also remain until you manually delete them.
WHAT IF I'M NOT HAPPY WITH MY PRINTS OR THERE IS A MISTAKE IN A SHIPPED ORDER?
Our goal is to produce and deliver an order with which you will be extremely satisfied. If a mistake is made, or the print quality is unacceptable, contact the Garbo Productions studio and we will remake and replace the necessary prints. As hard as we try to ensure that we get every order right, errors do occur. We're commtted to minimizing those errors and quickly fixing those that do occur.
HOW LONG WILL MY EVENT PROOFS BE AVAILABLE ONLINE?
Your event proofs will be available online for viewing and purchasing for 90 days. If necessary, your proofs can be re-posted to the website for an additional charge.

AM I RESPONSIBLE FOR ORDERS PLACED BY MY FAMILY, FRIENDS AND EVENT GUESTS?
We welcome you to share your Event ID with your family, friends and event guests. Each online order requires credit card payment information at the time the order is placed. If the credit card information submitted is incorrect, or the charge is declined, the studio will contact the customer that placed the order. You are not responsible for orders or payments from anyone you have let use your Event ID.
RETURN AND REMAKE POLICY
Garbo Productions is committed to delivering the highest quality photos. If you are not satisfied with your order, please contact the Garbo studio within 30 days of delivery. Please keep the order notification that you receive after placing your order online. This will help us determine if an order was processed properly.
ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS

To place an order online, go to our login page and enter the Event ID for your event. A page of thumbnail versions of your proofs will appear. The site displays 100 thumbnails per page. Click on "next" and "previous" to navigate between your thumbnail pages.

To view an enlarged version of an image, just click on the thumbnail. Once you're in the enalarged view screen, you can navigate through the larger images by clicking on the links below the photo.

Registration is not required to view the proofs, but if you'd like to select images to put in your "favorites" folder or place a reprint order, you must register with the site. Garbo Productions will only use your information internally.

REGISTRATING AS A NEW USER

To register, just click on the "register" link and fill in the handful of fields that appear. You will sent a registration confirmation email (to the email address that you provide) containing your chosen username and password. Please keep this information on file in case you need to access it in the future. Once registered, you will return to the last page you were on before registering. Log in using your new username and password, and you're ready to select favorite images and use the Shopping Cart.

LOGGING IN AS A PREVIOUS ONLINE CUSTOMER

If you've already used the Garbo Labs website, you can login with your username and password on the main Client Login page. The event that you last viewed will appear. If you need to view and order from another event, return to the main login page, enter the new Event ID (but do not enter your username and password on that page) and click the "Go" button. The new set of thumbnails will appear. Just click on a thumbnail to view an enlarged image page and enter your username and password to again access the Shopping Cart or "Favorites" functions.

USING THE "FAVORITES" FOLDER AND SHOPPING CART

As you click through the proofs, you can click on "Add to Favorites" to place images in your unique "Favorites" folder. You can also select print sizes and quantities, as well as other options such as Digital Retouching and conversions to b/w and sepia tone. Just click "Add to Cart" to put an item in the Shopping Cart. You can also type special cropping, retouching and other instructions directly into the space provided on the order page.

You can review the images in your "Favorites" folder by clicking the "Show Favorites" button, and you can review the items in your cart by clicking the "View Cart" button.

You can easily delete images from your "Favorites" folder by clicking on the "delete from favorites" link below each thumbnail in the folder. In the Shopping Cart, you can delete items by clicking on the respective trash can icon, or you can change the quantity of prints ordered by editing the quantity number and clicking on the "Update Cart" button.

Both your "Favorites" selections and shopping cart will retain your selections, even if you lose your connection to the site or log out. Your Shopping Cart will be emptied once your order is placed. However, your "Favorites" will remain until you manually delete each of the images.

CHECKING OUT

The checkout function of our Shopping Cart is similar to many e-commerce websites you've experienced. When you're ready to place an order, just click the "Check Out" button from within the Shopping Cart screen, and you will be prompted to enter your billing and shipping information. This is a secure website, so your contact and payment information are not accessible by anyone outside of Garbo Productions.

Before your order is placed, a "Order Summary" screen will appear. Please review all of the information before placing the order. If the information and order details are all correct, click the "Place Order" button. You can then either logout of the site or continue viewing proofs and creating orders. You will receive an order confirmation via email shortly after your order has been placed. If there are any additional questions regarding your print order, a Garbo Productions associate will contact you via email or phone.
